#RIGBLASTER JT65 SOFTWARE#
Thanks to K1JT (Joe) and VK3AMA (Laurie) for WSJT-X, JT-Alert, and JT-Macros software for making weak signal modes so much fun and easy to work and track. I can be found on the rapidly growing modes of JT65 and JT9 weak signal HF. My 5 element Cushcraft Yagi works well, and an IC-PW1 to help when conditions are not so good.

In my Outlander, I have an ICOM IC-5100A (VHF/UHF D-Star, FM), and a Yaesu FTM-400DR (VHF/UHF C4FM System Fusion) which both have touch screens for ease of mobile use. Please contact Jeff (K2AK) for more information regarding WIRES-We also have interfaced an RC-210 repeater controller that allows IRLP, and D-Star (GMSK). This is in an early stage of Yaesu’ development of this project and things are changing rapidly.
#RIGBLASTER JT65 CODE#
When accessing the repeater using C4FM there is no squelch code requirement. The repeater is operational on the coordinated frequency of 441.200MHz (+5MHz) and a PL tone of 100Hz (when using AMS in Analog mode). SAZARC currently has a System Fusion repeater online. We welcome individuals that have the desire to learn and research new technologies. Everyone is welcome to become a member and there are no dues or donations required. SAZARC is a group of Amateurs that enjoy experimentation and activities without the requirements of a normal club. I am the president and trustee of the Southern Arizona Amateur Radio Club (SAZARC - ). During my time on the mountain I completed over 15000 QSOs with stations from all over the world. After upgrading to Amateur Extra Class, I was granted the 1X2 call sign of K2AK which is from the 2nd district where I grew up.įrom November 1983 to January 1985, I operated as HL9JT from a mountaintop (see Stars and Stripes story about Madison Site) near Suwon, South Korea. In March of 2007, I changed vanity call signs to K7WIN. I was issued the call sign N2AEW which I held until February 1999 when I requested the vanity call of W2JRT.
#RIGBLASTER JT65 LICENSE#
I was very involved in CW and voice on 10 meters however, I wanted more so I went to the FCC in Philadelphia and I upgraded my license to Advanced Class in August of 1976. I was first licensed as a Novice class operator in the state of New Jersey with call sign WA2QZA. My name is Jeffrey Thomas (Jeff) and I have been an Amateur Radio Operator since June of 1976. This page contains information pertaining to the operation of Amateur Extra Class operator Jeffrey Thomas and radio station K2AK. Seems strange that so many things work perfectly, except for the one group of buttons.Thank you for visiting the K2AK Amateur Radio Webpage. So basically everything in the interface works, except those buttons to the right of the freq display. It wasn't worded as lengthy as this post and missing a lot of the details.

I looked on the HRD forums and there was only one post, from earlier this year, with the same problem and no response. If I go uncheck the West Mountain box "Always use RTS instead of sending CAT commands", then they work, but then my audio is not properly routed to the radio. All the buttons on the right that are a 0 or 1 type command to the radio, instantly put the radio into transmit when clicked. But any options that were already in the ON state on the radio do nothing in HRD. Except for TX, if it has been toggled on by HRD I can toggle it off. If I click ANY of those that are already set to their ON state, from reading it from the radio on start up, it does nothing. So, If I click ANY of those right side buttons that are in there OFF state, it instantly puts the rig into TX.

I then have to click the TX button to get the radio out of TX. (Mode, ATU, etc )Īny toggle buttons to the LEFT of the frequency display work ( VFO, etc)Īny button to the RIGHT of the main freq display that is a 2 state toggle (on/off), hitting any of these buttons instantly puts the radio into TX mode and the TX button toggles to it's active state. I can change any "drop down" / multi choice button and it works. I can use any slider on the HRD interface and it works. Now here's what works in HRD and interfaces with radio properly: "Always use RTS instead of sending CAT commands" Then in the special West Mountain box, I have the check mark set to ON. COM port pin=RTS ( also had it set to NONE at first and JT65 also worked then) In HRD under "Options->COM Port TX" I have the following settings: I've been using this set for up a while and using the HRD logbook with the main HRD interface minimized. I can transmit and the audio gets properly routed to the radio. I also have "Use HRD for PTT" checked on. In JT65 setup I enabled the option to use HRD and then the v5 selection. So I have everything working fine for JT65.
